Dirty Bird Shortlisted for the Margaret and John Savage First Book Award

It was just announced that Dirty Bird has been shortlisted for the Margaret and John Savage First Book Award, which is presented through the Atlantic Book Awards and goes to the best first book published in Atlantic Canada last year.

As part of being shortlisted I will be participating in events in PEI and Nova Scotia leading up to the awards ceremony on May 16th in Dartmouth. Can’t wait! Check out the rest of the shortlisted authors on the Atlantic Book Awards website.
