You may recall that my novel Dirty Bird was recently shortlisted for the Margaret and John Savage First Book Award, as part of the Atlantic Book Awards. As a precursor to the awards, I will be participating in literary events in PEI and Nova Scotia. Hoping to see some familiar faces!
PEI: On Saturday, May 11th at 1:00pm I will be reading from Dirty Bird at Indigo in Charlottetown. Following the reading there will be a Q&A hosted by UPEI’s head librarian, Simon Lloyd.
Nova Scotia: On Wednesday, May 15th at 7:00pm I will be joining other nominees, including Donna Morrisey, in a panel discussion at the Keeshen Goodman Library in Halifax.
